I regurarly switch printing between Legal and Letter size, and now it won't print to Legal. When I open the pdf, it always comes out cropped to letter size.
I've been using PDFCreator for years, and this is the first time I've had this (or really any) problems.
I know how to tell it to change paper sizes, (from Print > Setup > Properties > Advanced and) when I go back it says it's Legal - and it prints to letter size.
I've also gone through the Printers & Faxes > PDFCreator > Printer > Properties > General (and Advanced) > Printing Preference > Advanced, and it's set for Legal.
I even setup my document for Tabloid size, told PDFCreator to print Tabloid and it comes out Letter. Same with ANSI-D. They're both sizes I use often.
I'd been using version 0.9.0.6, but this problem persists after upgrading to 1.2.3. The system is XP Home, fully updated with more than adequate resources.
HELP!
I'm having the same problem. I rarely use sizes other than Letter, so I thought at first that I was doing something wrong. All the settings looked right, so I tried again. Then I noticed that the resulting PDF page looked like a legal-size page printed on letter-size paper.
Example -- This forum printed as letter-size, then printed legal-size (images captured from within PDF reader:

PDF files on Google Docs:
Letter Size
Legal Size
If you are having problems with a specific paper size that you are often using try the fixed paper option in Options -> Program -> Document -> Document properties 2
[X] Use fixed paper size: legal
