I'm having this very annoying issue on upgrading pdfcreator on an XP machine with SP3.
I succesfully installed pdfcreator 1.4.2 but when I upgrade to 1.4.3 I always (I've tried many times) obtain the following error (in italian):
"Impossible to execute the file
CreateProcess failed with error 2
the system cannot find the file specified"
The real problem is that when I try to execute a working excel containing macros that print pdf through pdfcreator library it does not work anymore!
More specifically, when I run the macro I see pdfcreator process running with 100% CPU forever and I have to manually kill it.

have you tried manually uninstalling and removing all of PDFCreators components, restarting your machine and installing afterwards?

Yes, I've tried every combination of:
- installing 1.4.3
- uninstalling every pdfcreator component (with also manual removing of every register occurrence of pdfcreator instance)
- rebooting
- installing 1.4.2
Two strange things happen:
- even the installation of 1.4.2 now ends up wih the same error
- no problem occurs on a different machine where the only relevant difference was the SP2 installed instead of SP3
Please let me know if you need some other information.
