Failed to check launch permissions - "Critical Error!"

PDF Architect 4 Professional is failing to load. I get a message headed “Critical Error!”

Message then reads:

Failed to check launch permissions.
Failed to connect to windows service to check “PDF Architect4-MIDI-APP” application data.
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled services associated with it.

This simply could not have happened at a worse time! Can someone please help?

Does no one have any idea how I can run PDF Architect? I did expect someone would have an idea!

If you haven’t done so already, please try to uninstall PDF Architect, reboot the machine and install it again afterwards.
In most cases this already seems to fix the problem. If it doesn’t please let us know or contact the phone support directly.
