I cannot select any content (although there is Content Copying Allowed)

Hello, I am using:

  • PDF Creator v 2.4.1. build 13
  • Windows 10 64bit
  • Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit)

I have an issue. When I save pdf from Chrome (i.e. print something using pdf creator to pdf), I cannot select any content from that pdf fie, although there is Content Copying Allowed in Document Security Properties…

I have double checked setting, but I did not find wrong setting, so I guess that is issue of PDF Creator.

Hi,

the issue is chrome doesn’t send real text to the printer, only outlines, so it isn’t possible to copy or search the text in the output document (PDFCreator doesn’t use any OCR).
Printing from a different browser should solve the issue.
