I noticed when using PDF Creator the GhostScript application opens and closes for each job. Is there a way to keep GhostScript up and running in the background to speed up the printing process?

I am not aware of any way to do this other than perhaps using Ghostscript directly, but in most cases the spooling process takes a lot longer than the actual conversion and loading Ghostscript is usually very fast.
