When I need to make a word document into pdf the original size of the document is reduced to about half after conversion. What am I doing wrong?

since PDFCreator doesn’t do any scaling on its own, it must be a setting in Word somewhere.
If you are creating a large format it might be the setting “scale content to letter/a4 paper format” which is activated by default and hidden in Word’s advanced options.
