Pdfcreator - DLL error

Hi there - first of all sorry for my bad english.

Well i installed PDFCreator 2.5.2 on a fully fresh clean Windows 7 x64 installation. Fully patched with drivers / runtimes / updates.
I cant start PDFCreator. It brings the following error:

“LeaveCriticalSection” wasnt found in the DLL “API-MS-WIN-CORE-SYSINFO-L1-2-0.DLL”

I cant even get to the Config or anything else. Can anyone tell me what to do?
I installed Ghostscript to check if that fixes that, after reading something about Ghostscript and some other DLL errors. But it didnt fix it.

What else can i do?

Hi,

I have never seen this error, but it looks like it could be related to a faulty .NET component, reinstalling .NET 4 (Client profile) might solve the issue. API-MS-WIN-CORE-SYSINFO-L1-2-0.DLL isn’t one of our DLLs.

Just wanted to tell that deinstalling NET 4.7 and reinstalling NET 4.6.2 fixed the problem. Thank you very much!
