Was there any version of PDFCreator released without the OpenCandy.
In order to solve the problem of OpenCandy, I am gonna have to make many changes to my code in order to make it compatible with v2.5.
I want to avoid this. So if there is any version in the range of v1.x which is totally malware free. Please let me know

the OpenCandy contained in the official old PDFCreator versions isn’t malicious, but we don’t provide downloads or support for 1.x versions any more. Unfortunately, the 1.x versions had reached a point at which it wasn’t properly possible to maintain/extend/support the code, so we had to re-write the entire application from scratch, including the COM interface. While it might be a lot of work to update your code, we will be happy to help with this and you will be able to take advantage of all new features .
