Setting a password on the run

Hi there,

Is it possible to pass a password to PDFCreator, in the same way we pass a file, name on the run?

Any feedback or assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

yes , by leaving the password fields in the profile settings blank.

Thank you for your response. I think I haven't made myself clear, we pass the file name to PDFCreator in the token. That way our print modules pass filenames to the printer on the run and our users don't have to name and save documents as they're printing (they may print 100's of individual PDF documents at a time). Is there a way to allocate a password token in this same way from our print module? We'd like to use something like the ID number as the password.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am afraid the password fields don't support tokens, the only way I can think of to somehow make this work would be using the COM interface and custom code.
