Is there a way to update the Ghostscript Component of PDFCreator 1.7 Server ?
In Ghostscript 9.26 serious vulnerabilities are fixed.
At the Moment the Server has Ghostscript 9.10

there is no PDFCreator Server version 1.7
If you are using the old PDFCreator 1.7 as server with some work around, it won't be possible to update the Ghostscript version inside it.
The current PDFCreator Server release uses Ghostscript 9.25 which contains most of the security fixes, we will test if an update to 9.26 is possible without modifying PDFCreator Server.

There is a Folder with the Ghostscript /bin and /lib and there is the 32 and 64bit Version in it

unfortunately it won't be possible to directly replace the Ghostscript version without updating PDFCreator Server first. We had to slightly modify PDFCreator Server in order to be compatible with Ghostscritp 9.25.
Most likely it will be possible to replace Ghostscript 9.25 with Ghostscript 9.26 in the current PDFCreator Server release, I will test it and let you know:

If you are using PDFCreator Server 1.2.0, this is already a licensed product.
It does however sound like you might be using PDFCreator 1.2.0 and have some work around in place to make it work as server.

No it was originally the Server Version and was free. It had not to be licensed.
In config there is a ghostscript menue where you can choose the ghostscript Version in a drop down menue.

You are allowed to use this version for free on any machine, but it won't be possible to update the Ghostscript within it.
This was never officially a server version, just because it could be used on a server and it worked, it was never designed for this and wasn't/isn't officially supported. It is the regular PDFCreator 1.2.0.
The actual PDFCreator Server product line was only established 2015 and was fully designed to run on a server, e.g. it runs as service and doesn't require any logged on user, also it doesn't contain anything which requires user interaction regardless of the configuration.

We will wait then for a Version with Ghostscript 9.26 and will try to update the workflow to use with the official Server Version.
