Very Slow Printing

Hi, in the last month many customers complain about very slow printing to pdfcreator printer

(10 minutes per page!), reinstall last version not help…
I think it’s caused by Windows7 new Update.
Any Idea?

which appication are your users mainly printing from? 
We haven’t heared about this yet and are not having this problem on our Windows7 machines, so it might be a change in the printing application.

My users printing from microsoft Access 2003 via COM Interface And microsoft Word 2010 Using the regular Print Dialog.

Hello

I’m experiencing a similar problem.
I’ve noticed that if I try to print a document from PDF Architect it takes a very long long time.

If I try to print the same document from Acrobat Reader it is very very fast, by comparison.

The printer is a OKI and it is connected via wi-fi.

Can you help?

Hi,

Adobe in particular creates very slim Postscript files, which means there is less data to send to the printer than usual and PDF Architect might not be able to compete with the printing speed, but it shouldn’t be slow either. Could you send an example document to support(at)pdfforge.org and let us know how long it roughly took to print it from PDF Architect? Which version of PDF Architect are you currently using?
