1.3.2 As service on 2008 r2 x64 fails to start

Ok, here we go

Windows 2008 R2 64 bit

AD is running on the box

Followed directions found here

http://outputredirection.blogspot.com/p/running-pdfcreator-as-service-on-server.html

The service will not start.

I can get it to print and auto save, however the following happens

1 - Must be logged into the server (bad mojo)

2 - Documents are auto saved to

     D:\\PDF.PRINT.FOLDER\\administrator
not
     D:\\PDF.PRINT.FOLDER\\

Any ideas?

Hello,

I would recommend doing this in two steps. The first step is to get PDFCreator working in server mode without service.

There, PDFCreator must always be running in order to process files.

Does this work for you? Is your auto-save folder set to D:\\PDF.PRINT.FOLDER\\?

And as which user do you start the print job? If you are the user Administrator on the other machine, this would explain this behaviour.

kind regards,
Philip
