1.4 doesn't embed some TT fonts

Hi folks;

I have a document I'm printing that uses Arial Narrow for table labels.  Text in this font does not show up in the created PDF when I created it with PDFCreator (but it works fine in Acrobat's PDF Printer.)  Any suggestions?

gil condensed doesnt work either

just tested it and it worked fine from Word 2010, sorry no clue what the problem could be.

I narrowed it down to the Microsoft Virtualization Client (through which my Office 2010 is delivered.) If this service is running, none of my condensed fonts show up.
