Been using PDFCreator for some time on my PC & am happy with it. Am considering buying a Mac Book Pro. Will PDFCreator work with the Apple machine?

no it won’t, it is closely tied to the windows printing system so porting it to apple would be like wrinting an entirely new piece of software.
