I have PDFCreator print queue setup to be shared. From other computer I print to shared print queue. The job does not create pdf file until I press buttons on auto-save dialog. how can I automate this.
Hi,
this sounds like auto-save is not active, as the “auto” part means there is no dialog.
You need to set up auto save in the pdfcreator options.

No, open PDFCreator and set the auto-save options. Print something and the save dialog comes up. Also the auto-save does not seem to save. After I print, I can bring up the options page and the auto-save is un-checked.
Using the COM sample1 application I can press “Print PDFCreator testpage” and then “Print printer testpage” and the test document is made no save dialog comes up. I print some other document to the PDFCreator queue and then press “Print printer testpage” and the save dialog does come up. Whats the difference?
Hi,
sorry for asking such basic questions, but often the small things cause the problems:
Did you by chance not press save in the options? You need to press the save button after making any changes. Or did you modify settings for PDFCreator in the registry?

Robin
