Blank files after latest version no non-ascii characters in file name

After upgrading from .9.9, a process now intermittently creates blank files. There is no pattern.
The PC running this uses Windows 7. It does not matter if the files are saved locally or to a network drive. The name of the Files is Reminder Letter 9999999.pdf where 9999999 is a customer number composed of letters and digits.

When we run the process, some customers which previously had a blank file get the expected output and others get a blank file.

We would appreciate any help with this.

Hi,

do those who get blank files always get blank files, or does it seem totally random as in the same user on the same PC sometimes gets a blank file and sometimes not?

regards,

Robin

The letters are for customers. It appears random. We cannot discern a pattern.

The problem does not occur when running the process via remote desktop but does occur with a PC with Windows 7 and a PC with Windows 2008R2 Server.

This problem does not occur with a PC running Windows XP.

We would appreciate support on this problem. We regard it as a bug in PDF Creator. We prefer not to have to run Windows XP.

Hi,

it is hard to say what is going on here, can you enable logging on one of the windows7 PCs (press F3 on the print monitor)  untill a blank page is created and send us the resulting log or post it here?

regards,

Robin

The log file had too many characters to post here.

If you would provide me an email address to send the file to, it would be helpful.

This is causing major problems for us, and we have had 4 people spend many hours identifying and working around the problem.

It took you a week to ask me to send you a log file, and you did not provide me an email address to send it to.

Hi,

the email adress is support@pdfforge.org.
The reason why there is no fast solution to this is in the nature of the problem, if things go wrong randomly with no pattern it is hard to find the cause.

regards,

Robin

I have emailed the log file. I am hoping for a timely resolution of the problem.
