Can't Configure pdfcmon

Hi,

It's well documented on how to setup PDF Creator for multiple printers. I need to be able to do that but when I click "configure port" or try to add a new port using pdfcmon, it simply won't allow it.

Is it not available in version 1.3.2? If so, I need some direction on how to associate a printer with a specific profile on PDFCreator.

Thanks!

Hi,

you can export HKCU->Software->PDFCreator->Profiles->"your profile" from the registry and then import it for all users or to HKLM (If you import it to HKLM users won´t be able to make permanetnt changes to the settings).

Hi,

the link you posted is a bit out of date:)

Try this: http://www.pdfforge.org/content/using-multiple-printers, if it doesn´t solve your problem please contact us again and we will find a solution.

Thanks, that looked very promising until I found out it still directly relates to my problem.

When I setup profiles, they don't get carried across for all users. How do I do that?

Thanks for your help!

Robin,

Anytime I add more than one printer in PDFCreator, it ONLY displays the printer with the "Default" profile linked to it. Why is this? I need to be able to have multiple printers with different settings for each printer...

Thanks!

Hi,

do I understand you correctly, that you now have multiple printers, but all of them are linked to the default profile? If this is the case, you can go to Printer->Printers in the PDFCreator menu.

On the left side the printers are shown, on the right side you can set the profile.

Or does only one printer show up, even if you have created several?

Robin, I have multiple printers setup but only the DEFAULT profile printer (one out of three different ones setup) shows up in Windows.

Hi,

sorry I need to ask another question :

Are you using Win7? The additional printers are a bit hidden in win 7:
