Can't make a PDF,...goes right to printing?

I can’t make a PDF,…it goes right to printing?  I do not see any settings to change this behavior?  VERY frustrated and unhappy.

do you mean, when you press print and select the PDFCreator printer, it prints to your physical printer instead?
