after install 3.3 appear this error, i uninstalled and installed again but remain:

Hi,

sorry for the trouble.
Do you also get this error when you launch the PDFCreator.exe directly?
I haven't seen this error before and am not sure what could be causing it, but we will look into it.
It seems to be an error with the PrinterHelper retrieving information on the printer ports of your system, but we will most likely need to have a close look into the code to figure out what could be causing this. Does the PDFCreator printer show up in your list of printers?

Hi Monica,

I haven't yet received any update from the developer who is looking into the issue.
Did you install PDF Architect together with PDFCreator?
It has a free create module (requires simple sign-up by email) which also installs a virtual printer, which might be an option for you to use as long as we try to figure out what is causing the error inside the pinterhelper.

ok, pdf architect install own printer driver, but conversion in PDF/A IS NOT compliant with italian commerce chamber, and is not validated, with many errors

Do you happen to have a link to the compliance guidelines for the Italian commerce chamber?
We'd like to take a look into the case.

Any update on this? I cant use pdfCreator anymore because of same problem after updating to 3.3.0. Program crashes every time immediately after starting up or sending to the pdfcreator printer. Have used pdf creator for years without this issue.

Running windows 10.

Can I uninstall and find the download for previous version that was working?

I too am a long standing user of PDF Creator and upgrading to 3.3 caused the same error and inability to use both printing and opening. Get exception error and program closes for "The data area passed to a system call is too small". Originally Cisco Amp stopped for virus but my company worked with Cisco to get it to pass. I can revert back to older version and works fine. I sent in error report.

Reverting to an earlier version of PDFCreator should fix the issue:
