Exception while signing: Unknown encryption algorithm

Hi,
I have qualified certificate from national certification authority PostSignum Qualified CA 4.
It is: version V3, signature algorithm sha256RSA, hash sha256, public key RSA 4096 bits.
All attempts to sign end in error: Unknown encryption algorithm
PDF Creator Free 5.3.3 on Windows 11 Pro x64 24H2 Czech.

My friend has the same problem. His older PostSignum certificate works, but the newer one does not. The lastest version of PDF Creator shows the same errror message as you posted above, the older version 2.2.2 shows error 26999. Were you able to resolve the isssue in the meantime please?

Ahoj Michale, I have solved it for now by using Signer 602 (trial, periodically renewed) and free Acrobat Reader. The pdfforge developers do not response or solve it.

Thanks for the quick response, though negative. My friend is blind so he can't use the built-in signing option within Acrobat Reader (the signing procedure is unacessible there], but we'll investigate the Signer 602 app.
