I use PDFCreator about once or twice a week to merge many PDFs into a single PDF. It's great for what it does. However, it's almost like it's designed to make things more annoying than they should be.
Every single time I open up PDFCreator it launches in the center of the screen. Then I move it to the edge so it's not obstructing the view of the files I need to work with.
I then drag the first PDF file into the window and it pops the PDFCreator editor...in the center of the screen, obstructing my file view again. I move it to the edge of the screen and click Merge.
Now the merge window opens up...in the center of the screen, obstructing the files I need to work with again. Sigh. I drag it out of the way again and then drag the files I need to merge into the Document Info area so they'll be added to the file list and finally reorder as necessary.
Surely it's done centering stuff on me right? Nope.
Click Merge All then Continue and, as if sticking tiny daggers in my eyes, the PDFCreator editor opens again...in the center of the screen.
I move it to the edge of the screen once more, modify the filename and author and click Save. Fortunately, the save process doesn't pop yet another centered window and in a few moments it's done.
My humble request, and for the sake of my sanity and likely many others who go through the exact same process, is to add window position memory to PDFCreator. This should open each window at its last position unless that position would make the window completely off-screen.
