I am using PDFCreator 3.4.0 on Windows 10 and drag and drop a PDF file (Please try drag and drop more than once) with file name length is exactly 22 (Div_PF001_20180122_bak.pdf), an error occur when create and retrieve the PDFCreator temp folder (see below). Please help to fix the problem. Thanks.

How about another case that file name with length more than 22 characters with a space at position 23 (PF001_PF001_2_ALLSpace Report311213.pdf)? Thanks.

Hi,
while neither of your logs contain the actual error, I did also encounter an issue when trying to drag & drop a PDF with the given file name (PF001_PF001_2_ALLSpace Report311213) onto PDFCreator, but it only happened during the first attempt. Do you get an internal Ghostscript error when this happens and do you also only get it some of the time?

Seems the problem is the program will create a temp folder with shorten name. It create a folder name "C:\Temp...\PF001_PF001_2_ALLSpace" (Note: without a space at the end), but the program retrieve the pdf "C:\Temp...\PF001_PF001_2_ALLSpace \vg5oqcxh.zcw.pdf" (Note: with a space at the end).
When you try to drag and drop the same pdf file again, the program find the folder exists and create another folder named "PF001_PF001_2_ALLSpace _2" (Note: with a space in between). The program is able to retrieve the pdf "C:Temp...\PF001_PF001_2_ALLSpace _2\vg5oqcxh.zcw.pdf" now and without any error.

Thanks for the help, nicely spotted. I will check if this is already fixed in production code or create a ticket to get it fixed for the next update.

Anyway, we already bypass the exception by rename the file name before passing the file to PDFCreator.
Mesmo notificando os técnicos do Pdf Creator, o bug ainda está presente na versão 4.2.0.10

this should be fixed in 4.2.0. Can you describe your workflow (path, filename etc.) please, that we can reproduce it on our side?
