I have tried several times using the latest versions but have always gone back to version 0_9_9 as the later versions consistently fail to render a font that I am using.
The font concerned in Hobbit, 18point italic.
Can anyone tell me why this is? Is it in the settings of the latest versions, or is it a bug?
I am having the same problem and thought an update would help, but does not. I am finding that many fonts (such as Balogna) do not work - come out looking like little squares. I hope this gets resolved.
You have described my problem perfectly. Little squares just about sums it up.
I am use font Angsana UPC. When convert to pdf my font change to italic.
