Hey..."No subscription" but annual renewal?

I just bought a license for PDFCreator on the Black Friday deal in part because the advertisement said "No subscription".

But then I find out you have to renew the license annually! How is a 365 day license to maintain access not a subscription? Can you fix your marketing materials because this is kind of misleading IMHO.

I do not require refund. I bought the license to support you guys because I use your software a lot. But this sort of thing is quite irritating. "Annual license" would be clearer.
