Have a pretty basic Hot Folder destination for scans that need to convert a PDF into an image and then drops the completed file to another location. Works beautifully.... when it wants to.
More often than not, a scan lands in the hot folder and nothing happens. It can sit there for hours with no action taken on it. I need open up the Hot Folder tray app, stop it, start it, then everything goes through correctly.
We only use this for a couple scans per day and on some days none at all. I can confirm that the software is running the entire time.
