I am unable to change the name property and type is wrong

Whether I use an existing field or add a new field (form field - text field) the type is shown in properties as widget and I cannot change either the name or the type - even though the help doc indicates that this is modifiable.


My friend has version 1 and has no problem with this. I just downloaded version 2 and it is not working as I thought it would.

Am I doing something wrong?

It is not possible to change the type/name in version 2. Maybe this is a bug, I will ask our developers.(changing the type doesn’t work in version 1 though either, but the textboxes have the type “text” there). Why would you like to change the type?
