I cannot create from the scanner

I just bought  PDF Architect 4 Pro and when I scan a document, the process runs correctly but once it is finished, it shows a message “please wait” (espere) and it never ends. 

It is not the scanner as I am using it all the time, and I even used it until recently with the Acrobat 5
