Installation PDFCreator 0.9.9 ita s.o. Windows XP - failure

Hi,

I work on Windows XP.

I try to install PDF Creator 0.9.9 ita, but after download I have no virtual printer installed.

I have tried to install also other PDF Creator, but without success: in any case for the virtual printer exit is “not installed”.

At the end of download, a warning message tell me that “errors occoured during installation”.

The SetupLog.txt shows the following information:

Hi Roberto

i'm italian too, and I had the same problem.

I've not istalled 0.9.9 yet but with all previous version there was the same problem.
I use PDFCreator on a Win2003 server and one time installed no virtual printer is visible from the net, I think is a bug not solved yet.

It's not so critical, it's enought that you type //server/PDFCreator in the printer search path (when you try to install) and all work without problems.

sei stato molto gentile a rispondermi.

Nel merito, però, mi sembra di avere capito che Tu sia riuscito comunque ad installare la printer virtuale PDF, ma non ho capito esatamente come.

In particolare, nel mio caso, non ho un server, ma uso il mio p.c. stand alone.

Non so come si faccia ad inserire delle istruzioni (quali esattamente?) nella "printer search path": inoltre è una cosa che va fatta prima di tentare l'installazione? perché, altrimenti, durante l'installazione mi si presenta il problema che ho già illudstrato.

Spero che Tu mi possa dare qualche ulteriore ragguaglio e Ti ringrazio sentitamente.
