Issues with running PDF Creator as a service (server mode)

I'm running into issues with getting PDF creator to work in Server Mode without an open PDF Creator program running under a user account on the server.  It has worked in the past and I've talked to the person who set it up.  I also followed the directions he sent me that he used (http://rainyrat.wordpress.com/2010/01/22/pdfcreator-as-a-windows-service/), but was unable to get it to work.  I can see the prints spooling and when I open up the PDF Creator under a user account they are all there, but when PDF Creator is running under the system account they just stack up and never print out.  I've looked through the registry under hklm and see the auto-save path there, but again nothing "prints".  They srvany.exe and PDFCreator are both opened up under the system account when trying to get this working.  Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated and I don't mind sending over informaiton if requested, but didn't want to post everything I've tried in the past 3 days to try and get this working.  Also we are currently trying to get version 1.4.1 working.  1.2.3 has worked in the past and it worked when we upgraded to 1.4.0, but the print spooler kept stopping multiple times a day with that version.  After upgrading to version 1.4.1 everything seemed to quit working.  I did try to jump back to 1.2.3, but it didn't work without the PDFCreator window being open under a user account also after the upgrade to 1.4.1.

Sorry for the slow reply.  I've looked at that and it was installed in Server Mode.  I see where auto-save is in the registry and it is pointing to the correct spot.  It has the srvany.exe running along with the pdfcreator.exe under the system account.  Unfortunately when it is running like this nothing is saved.  When I open up it up under an individual user’s profile and adjust the auto-save settings it works.

Hi,

(not quite sure if this causes your problem)

unfortunatly there is a bug with UAC, you can read more about it here: http://www.pdfforge.org/forum/open-discussion/9032-bug-group-policies.

It is fixed in ther new version.
