Memory leakage from Accessbased program from Terminal server

When printing large documents (1700 pages) from a program based upon MS Access 2010
starts filling up memory to the extent that it reboots the RDS server. Then
happens on both PDF Creator (Business) Terminal server 2.3 and on (free) 1.7.3.
Anyone else with this issue?

Hi,

another user had a similar problem when using the COM interface, disabling the conversion progress bar helped for him, not sure if it will help here but it is something you could try.

Best regards,

Robin

Hi, did NOT work. Tried disable showprogress and skipprintdialog (hkcu\pdfforve\pdfcreator\settings\conversionprofiles) the memory leakage happens when creating the .ps file under localappdata\temp - tried change the pdf creator printer object to print directly to printer, but then its simply too slow, takes forever to create the ps file - then it takes ten times the time to convert it to pdf.

Hi,

could you upload an example document which causes this problem and link it here?
How much memory is used during this process? Does the momory fill up while converting one of the large documents, or gradually while converting multiple documents?

Best regards

Robin

Okai, so this have finaly been resolved. - we noticed that while converting the .ps file under %temp% was huge… it turns out that the logo created in the repport (that was 500kb), when printing somehow was crated a huge temp file.(like 7gb huge) the issue was resolved after we remove the logo.
