Network installation - PDFs not created unless GUI is running on server

I've recently installed the latest version of PDF Creator on my network.  It is shared out and configured to save the PDFs into users' home folders and then fire off a script that tells them the file is ready for them to use.

It works beautifully.  However, the system only works if the PDF Creator program GUI is running/open on the print server.  If it's not, the PDF files are not generated.  They are generated as soon as the GUI is started.

Is there an option to run the software as a service, or is this a known limitation?

I really don't like having to leave my servers logged in all the time.  Especially this one as I like to reboot it every weekend.  Yes, I could automate the login and startup of the GUI but it's a bit of a workaround....

Cheers,

Tim.
