I have been using PDF Creator for several years, on WinXP to save copies for online purchases and etc, with no problems. I recently upgraded to a new computer withWin7. the virtual printer does not work. It will print all the images, but will not print any text. I have tried several other similar programs with the same results (images with no text). The real printer(Canon Pixma model) does print.everything else is working properly.(no sign of corrupt files, or drivers) I have un-installed the software(s) and reinstalled. I have also wiped the disk, and done a clean install of the OS,and the results have been the same. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
PS I have an X64bit OS, PDFCreator 1.2.1, Ghostscript 8.71
thanks,

I had similar situation.
Which version of MS Internet explorer you have installed?
IE9 I suppose :)
Im experiencing the same problem. When I copy and past an image in let's say MS Word and print it to the pdf creator it will created the pdf file with the image in it. So no problem there, however when I just typ plain text into Word and do the same thing, the freshly made pdf file contains nothing except an white blank pdf file. When I print a testpage from within the pdfcreator configuration it does work. Things i've done
- I've reinstalled pdf creator but that was not the solution.
- Created a new profile, used that one, still no result
- Changed format from pdf to pdf/x still no result.
im sort of out of options here. I know people are gonna say its a MS Word fault because if you print a test page it does work but that's not the problem. If MS Word where the problem it would also not be possible to print an image into the .pdf. Also, the same thing happends in IE.
Would love to hear some tips/advices.
Best Regards,
