Page orientation switches between landscape and portrait in 1.7.0

Hello all,

Creating PDF files from MS Power Point 2003 SP3 (11.8169.8172) on Windows 7 x64 Pro SP1 I keep getting alternating page orientations with PDFCreator 1.7.0; typically the first two or three pages are landscape (correctly), then some pages came in portrait, thean again landscape and so on. This happens for different ppt files, after reinstalling 1.7.0, etc.With 1.6.2 all pages print fine in landscape orientation as it is in the original file. I can send example files if needed.

Nevertheless, PDF creator is a fine product.

you could try using PDF Creator 1.7.0 with Ghostscript 9.05, it is probably a ghostscript issue but I will try to test it here later.

I tried, but wih no luck. Uninstalled1.6.2 and Ghostscript 0.07, installed 9.05, then PDF 1.7.0, checked that 9.07 do not get installed along PDF Creator and generate PDF. The same happens, two pages landscape and two pages (wrong) portrait. The generated pdf says “Creator: PDFCreator Version 1.7.0” - “Producer: GPL Ghostscript 9.05”. Getting back to 1.6.2 for the time being.
