PDF/A 1-b validation fails

Hi,

The validation of pdf/a 1-b files created with PDFCreator fails!

The pdf-a Validation (i used adobe preflight 9.0 and several other tools) fails with the following validation error: "There are different information in document properties and meta data ... "

This is a example for the "author"

metadata-author \\376\\377\\000i\\000v\\000#\\0001\\0001\\000g\\000q

for me it looks that PDFCreator is writing metadata ... but i have those strange "escape tokens" at the beginning of each char.

any help is appreciated, i need to create valid pdf/a 1-b files!!!
