PDF Architect 4 Creator prints but does not save

I have tried to make and save a PDF of an excel spread sheet. When I click on the icon to create a PDF it goes directly to the printer but does not give me option to save the document.
When I use Word, it lets me save the document with a PDF extension.
What is going on?
