PDF Creator Install - Default Printer

    Hello,

    I have tried to install this program silently and
    normally. However, there doesn’'t appear to be an install switch, or an
    option to disable PDF Creator making the newly created virtual printer
    the default printer.

    I have tried Googling this and I did find two relevant discussions on this board, however, they appear to be gone now.

    Ideally I would like the software to run silently, and not set the printer as default.

this shouldn’t happen. It has happened on other machines in the past, but we have never been able to reproduce this here. Which version of PDFCreator did you install? Please post your setuplog.txt here or send it to support@pdfforge.org, we will have a look at it.

Are you using Windows? You select the default printer in the Control Panel under printers. You should have all printers, both physical and virtual, listed in the printers section of the Control Panel. Right click on the printer you want as your default and select from the menu. Or am I misunderstanding your question?
