Installing 1.6.1 has caused problems.
The uninstall of 1.2.3 did not go as previous revisions have, the printer named PDF Creator remained after it completed.
Setup 1.6.1 found that 1.2.3 was still there and removed it again. The new printer installed by 1.6.1 was named PDFCreator2.
Printing to PDFCreator2 fails because nothing happens after clicking Save. Clicking Cancel ends the printing task BUT the system slows to a crawl. According to Task Manager the PDFCreator.exe process is hogging 95-99% of the system resources and using almost 7MB of memory.
The setup of PDF Architect was a surprise, but its install seemed to go well. Since it turned up as a printer on the list, tried to print a PDF out of Firefox. Zippo again, if it did anything the PDF output is well hidden because it never gave me a chance to name the PDF or choose where to put it. At least it did not occupy all the CPU cycles…
Below is the installation log.

Hi,
usually the easiest way to resolve this type of problem is to completly uninstall PDFCreator, reboot the machine ( to ensure everything is deleted) and performing a fresh setup afterwards.
regards,
Robin
