PDF not generated until PDFCreator is restarted

Hi,

I am experiencing the following behaviour when using autosave:

  1. Page is printed,
  2. Printjob is spooled.
  3. No PDF is generated
  4. Open or Restart PDFCreator if open
  5. PDF is generated and saved

Once PDFCreator is opened all pending PDFs are generated but newly submitted jobs don’t get generated. Is this a known problem? Log file is emtpy, spooled PS files are in temp folder.

Hi,

this has sometimes happened when the pdfcmon.dll (our print monitor) didn’t get replaced properly during a PDFCreator update. Which version of PDFCreator is installed on your machine and which version does the pdfcmon.dll have in C:\windows\system32 ?
