I am not sure how PDFArchitect is meant to work but I can't get a PDF to actually appear is the window, either when opened through the PDFCreator print process of directly launching the program. I am running Vista Business x64.
Also, it would be nice to be able to remove/hide the option to "Edit PDF files with PDFArchitect" in the PDFCreator print window. It is just another option for me to accidentally click when printing, especially as the clickable area extends across the window above the Save button.
After which I can click the "continue" button and now I have 2 not-quite-open documents, and get the above error message each time I switch between them.
If I switch the language to German, any further file actually opens, so I can have a mix of open and not-quite-open documents.
There is no error message. The status bar says "1 document(s) successfully loaded" but the pager says 0/0 and no pages are shown. If I attempt to open a second file, the following error is shown:
```
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Did you dl the nightly build and it still didnt work? ( I only ask because there is only 1 minute between your last post and the post introducing the fix;)
PDF Architect works fine when the PDF document has only few pages but fails to load a 15 page scanned document. It loaded the first 9 pages and the rest were left blank.
I am using Win XP service pack 3.
I tried the same on a Windows 7 laptop, It was able to load all the pages but excruciatingly slowly and more so towards the last pages.
Please fix it since what the program does is a great solution for me.
