PDFCreator 2.1.2 - No Printer Installed

Hi all,

recently I upgraded from PDFCreator 1.7.3 to PDFCreator 2.1.2 and after the installation I cannot see any PDFCreator printer installed (what I did was that I uninstalled 1.7.3, rebooted machine and install 2.1.2). Even when I go to the PDFCreator in Start Menu, go to Printer and add the printer it will ask for the name and then UAC popup and nothing.

Only error I can find is inside SetupLog.txt:

Any idea what can be the reason for this issue?

Same problem. Adding a new printer in the appication settings doesn’t work.
Any solution?

Hi,

we have encountered this problem when the language settings on the machine are set to Turkish, what are your language and regional format settings?
This applies only if you get the Error: Found invalid command(s): installprinter, in general there can be other reasons why the printer wasn't installed @ch1978 please check if you are also getting this error or if it is a "access denied" error.
