Would you please tell me the advice to solve this problem?

Hi,

I am afraid this is an error which hasn’t been reported so far and we aren’t able to reproduce this problem on our test systems. Have you tried rebooting and running the setup again?
Did/do you have a previous version of PDFCreator installed on the system?

Best regards,

Robin

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I tried rebooting and running the setup again and again, but the same fault happens.
I have never installed PDFCreator before.
This is the first time.

Best regards,

Hi,

I solved the problem.
For other persons, especially Japanese, I wrote the method to avoid it.

I found the technical information about the Microsoft Office IME which causes ‘StackHash’ fault in some case.
IME is used in asian countries to input local language (ex. Japanese).
The default IME for Windows Japanese edition is ‘Microsoft IME’.
If Microsoft Office is installed, ‘Microsoft Office IME’ is also installed and it is set toi the default IME.

To aboid the APPCRASH while installing,

  1. Change IME from ‘Microsoft Office IME’ to ‘Microsoft IME’
    how to for Japanese: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932104/JA/
  2. Reboot the computer
  3. Install PDFCreator

Thank you, Robin.
Thank you for your GREAT Software.

Best regards,
