PDFCreator on Windows 7 64-Bit - does not install

I am trying to install the latest version (PDFCreator-1_0_1_setup.exe) of PDFCreator and it is failing with the message "Please restart your system first to continue setup"

This is a laptop that came installed with Win 7 64-Bit and I believe I installed a 0.9.8 or something version. On being informed about a new version, I tried to install but it wanted me to remove the previous version which I did through Add/Remove programs in Control panel.

Now on trying to install 0.9.8 also it gives the same error.

You probably solved the problem, but my post may be useful for others, as this problem still exists in version 1.1.0.

This problem occurs if we uninstall and reinstall PDFCreator without rebooting (or restarting the spooler service).  So, after uninstallation of any version of PDFCreator (using control panel to do this), reboot the machine and install PDFCreator after that. 

Restarting the spooler service yourself is possibly a faster way, but it is more complicated.
