Hi

at work we use PDFCreator to make all of our PDF's from autocad.

i'm looking at speeding up the process of naming & saving the files, and have an idea.

 

does any-one know how to invoke the pdfspool.exe program to get a file added to the print-queue?

Hello,

most likely calling PDFSpool is not what you want to do. Probably you can find an answer in the COM samples installed with PDFCreator. There you can see examples of how to control PDFCreator. You then call AutoCAD to print the file and receive events, when PDFCreator has received it. You can then control naming, saving etc.
