Program failure

Hello
I have windows 8, it has just down loaded an update.
Now I cant open PDF Architect.
It comes up with Critical error, program has encountered a problem and needs to close.
How can it close when it has not opened?
Anyone have a sollution for this error?

Hi,

did this happen after you downloaded a Windows8 update, or a PDF Architect update?
Please try to reinstall the PDF Architect as a first step.
