Long after I have installed PdfCreator 1.6.3 I installed SigmaPlot 12. A strange behavior happened. The first time I used PdfCreator the installer of SigmaPlot starts, does nothing (?), ends and the PdfCreator console appears. Subsequent uses of PdfCreator are regular. This behavior exists every boot of the PC. I have updated both SigmaPlot and PdfCreator to the latest version but nothing is changed. Also, I have reproduced this behavior in two different computer: a laptop running Win7 64bit and an older desktop running XP64. Fortunately, this is only an annoying behavior.

is the SigmaPlot installer a .msi installer?

Apparently the installer is an exe file named SPW_WebInstall.exe but I don’t know if it is an msi installer. Where should I look for knowing it?
You can try using the tool from http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/MSI-cleanup-utility-3889c8db
to resolve it, if it doesn´t help it wasn´t an .msi installer.
