Svg

It is becoming more and more important to print something to SVG. For example, Wikipedia uses SVG for graphics on the Internet; and if you use SVG in your documents, you get sharp lines on the paper.

Many PDF viewers have a snapshot function which produces just a bitmap. If PDFCreator could generate an SVG file from a certain document page that I could then paste into my OpenOffice document, that would be great.

Wikipedia provides a list how to convert pdf documents to SVG, and the PDFCreator isn't even mentioned. If it would work properly, it would be the ideal tool to get SVG graphics any time you need them. What really works is the misc2svg solution, so it's possible.

I give you an example file which definetly can't be converted to SVG using PDFCreator. (Same file, two links)
