Unfortunately it seem that the new release to PDF Architect9 doesn't work because the download breaks after 5%! Is anyone who has the same problem or a solution...
By the way I try it also completely without protection (firewall, etc.) - same result!
We have the same problem. Many customers use PDF Architect, and this update doesnt work. It just runs into an error and tries it again and again and again.
I even tried it to completely reinstall the software, but it had the same problem (dont know why the fresh install needed the update...)
We have like 10 different PCs with this problem.
Is there a fix?
I think(!), its because of missing Admin rights, probably due to a misconfiguration/change of the UAC, which prevents the possibilty to start a program with admin rights.
Solution should be to expand rights on the UAC.
Admin rights do not work either. We have logged into a workstation as a domain admin and been unable to either do an upgrade, or fresh install of the new version. I found this looking for an answer to the same problem.
