hello

I have problems combining files, i could combine word and pdf files, but lately I can't loaded pdf files only  word files, that I can do to fix this????

which method are you using to combine files?
Do you have the latest version of PDFCreator (1.7.0)?

i have pdfcreator 1.7.0 and i open the program, i tried to upload the fields whit the add button, and it doesn’t let me add the documents, i also have tried by dragging the fields and it also doesn’t work.

Hi,


this should normaly work, please try to uninstall PDFCreator, reboot your machine and install it again afterwards, in a lot of cases this already solves the problem.
If it doesn´t and you urgently need to combine, you could try the PDF Architect, the combine feature is part of the free module. You can also try to print the PDF to the PDFCreator printer, then hit wait and collect, print/add the other documents and do combine all.

i did what you tell me. and the problem is not solve, and i tried other versions of pdf creator like (1.3.2) (1.6.1) and it doesn’t work.

do you have any PDF Viewer installed and if yes, which is the default one to open PDFs?

Hi,

please try to uninstall, then go to windows\system32 and check if the pdfcmon.dll got deleted. If it didnt, run CMD as admin and type in net stop spooler and delete the pdfcmon.dll.
Afterwards run the setup of 1.7.0 again.
If that still doesn´t fix it, it is probably something to do with specific system configuration which we can´t see from here.
