I bought the PDF Architect 2 insert module - all i really need to do is stitch together pdfs into one document. Stitching together 4 documents, total size under 4 MB gave a 4 page document of 30 MB! Any reason why this would be the case, other than to try to make me buy the edit module for another£25 to reduce the file size? Not impressed.

this was not done on purpose. Which version of PDF Architect 2 is installed on your system currently? If possible, could you send us the files in question to support@pdfforge.org?
Are you inserting parts of PDFs into one document, or entire pages? You can use the free create module to combine any documents into one PDF.
