Wrong display in the properties of the PDF

Hello everybody,

The last pdfcreator v0.9.8 is just working fine with my XP SP3, but could somebody tell me why, whatever I wrote in the dedicated area, I have these kind of numbers under the Title/Author/Subject box in the properties of the PDF  :

\\376\\377\\000N\\000\\272\\000 \\0000\\0009\\0000\\0006\\0002\\

This was not happening with the old released.

Thanks.

OK, I found something. In the registry I went to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\PDFCreator\\Printing

In StandardCreationdate I replace the value "YYYYMMDDHHNNSS" with 0 and it works!

Solution:
In my tests i found out that "StandardDateformat" should never be changed from the default value "YYYYMMDDHHNNSS" to something else or the error you described in your first post happens in any case.

However, if you wish to specify the "StandardCreationdate" then it must be exact in the same format as "StandardDateformat" is specified! (including hours, minutes, and seconds even if you need just the year, month and day)

Example "22nd of March 2010" as standard creation date:
20100322000000

Example "22nd March 2010 - 18 o'clock" as standard creation date:
20100322180000

Example "22nd March 2010 - 18:45:30" as standard creation date:
20100322184530

I know this topic is more than 3 months old but maybe someone else could need this info ;)
